Trump Warns Modi: No War With Pakistan

U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that he warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to go to war with Pakistan. Trump shared this during a conversation with reporters at the White House on the occasion of Diwali. He said he had a phone call with Modi where they discussed several issues, including trade and regional peace.
Trump explained that during the call, he made it clear to Modi that war with Pakistan should not happen. He emphasized that he is working to resolve global tensions through trade rather than conflict. According to Trump, his approach has helped stop many wars around the world.

Trump further stated that he contacted both countries and warned them that the U.S. would stop trade with them if they went to war. Within 24 hours, he said, both sides responded positively and assured they didn’t want to continue the conflict.
